Blue Telescope, the interactive exhibit agency, has been honored with three 2012 Summit Creative Awards. Over the past 18 years, the Summit International Awards organization has established itself as one of the premier arbiters of creative excellence. Blue Telescope was honored from a base of thousands of submissions from 22 countries in this year’s competition.
In the “Self-Promotion Interactive Media” category, HARMONY, Blue Telescope’s own music-themed multimedia installation was honored with a Gold Award. Designed to demonstrate the company’s interactive design capabilities at EXHIBITOR2011, HARMONY’s 24-foot wide video wall worked in tandem with uptempo music, iPads, and Kinect technology to present a variety of traffic stopping interactive activities.
In the “Interactive Media: Health/Medicine” category, the 3D Rheumatoid Arthritis Simulator, as seen at EULAR2011, was recognized with a Silver Award. Utilizing depth-sensing technology, attendees chose between walking, rowing, and playing tennis, observing how their on-screen avatar was limited by the challenges faced daily by arthritis sufferers.
Also in the “Interactive Media: Health/Medicine” category, Sanofi’s Full Circle Challenge received a Bronze Award. ADA 2011 attendees learned about the full range of Sanofi’s patient support programs by taking on a series of quiz questions with this ‘wheel of fortune’ styled concept.
