Blue Telescope, the interactive exhibit agency, has created an online version of their award-winning Pfizer Anti-Infective Interactive Timeline to be hosted on the corporate website of Pfizer Inc. Originally created for the 2007 ICCAC (Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy) and IDSA (Infectious Diseases Society of America) exhibitions, the Anti-Infective Interactive Timeline is designed as a unique way to explore and promote the history and future of Pfizer Anti-Infectives.
Both the physical and online versions of the Anti-Infective Timeline feature a constantly-moving stream of historical images. Users navigate the timeline, highlighting the images to bring up interesting facts about Pfizer’s products, science, and philanthropy. From the foundation of Pfizer in 1849 to the latest research efforts, 42 unique events in anti-infective history are detailed in the experience. The trade show version of the Anti-Infective Timeline won a Silver 2008 Telly Award in the category of Animation, and 2 Bronze 2008 Multimedia Awards in the categories of Multimedia and Pharmaceutical.
Nick Bove, US Marketing Manager at Pfizer Inc., writes, “For the past 2 years, this interactive piece has been the cornerstone of our exhibit presence at major conventions across the US. The Interactive Timeline has been extremely effective at helping us meet our commercial objectives. We have found it to be a unique and fun way to maximize engagement with our customers and enhance awareness of our products. Perhaps more importantly, the Timeline has provided our customers with a creative interactive experience that helps highlight Pfizer’s ongoing commitment and leadership in treating infectious diseases. The Timeline has been such a success that we recently launched an online version of the Timeline so that all of our internal colleagues can also explore Pfizer’s Anti-Infective history.”
