Blue Telescope, the interactive exhibit agency, has been honored with a Silver Summit Creative Award in the category of “Interactive Media – Health/Medicine” for the design of the ‘Pfizer Neuroscience Race’ showcased at the 2008 APA (American Psychiatric Association) annual meeting. The Summit International Awards organization has judged creative excellence for over 15 years. Blue Telescope was honored from a base of thousands of submissions from 26 countries in this year’s competition.

Blue Telescope created the ‘Pfizer Neuroscience Race’ to serve as the centerpiece of the Pfizer APA booth. Building from the interest surrounding the 2008 election and the show’s location in Washington D.C., attendees were encouraged to “Elect Changes for a Healthier World” in a colorful interactive challenge utilizing imagery of the nation’s capitol. Attendees competed in a host-led challenge featuring product questions relating to the Pfizer Neuroscience brands Geodon, Aricept, and Lyrica. As attendees answered questions on individual touchscreens, a 17’ tall tower of plasma screens depicted each player’s progress, as representative runner avatars raced past Washington landmarks on their way to victory and greater product knowledge. This dynamic brand experience allowed uninterrupted detailing opportunities within the context of an energetic, medically-relevant interactive experience.
